A project called “Connect the Internet” was developed by Kazakhtelecom with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development.
“The point is that users can select the “Connect Internet” service in the Egov application. The service automatically, knowing the user’s registration data, shows the possibility of connecting to the Internet in a given region/district/home of the user from different telecom operators,” said the company’s CIO Nurlan Meirmanov.
In the eGov mobile application it will be possible to check the availability of the service in the region, as well as leave a request for connection.
It is planned that the signing of an agreement with a telecom operator will also take place in eGov.
Kazakhtelecom developers, with the support of National Information Technologies JSC, have already carried out the first testing of new functions.
The project is currently awaiting approval from the ministry.
