Kazakhstan’s Vice Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, Doszhan Musaliev, announced that the e-government portal will now undergo continuous cybersecurity monitoring.

Previously, such checks were conducted only once a year. The new approach enables round-the-clock detection of vulnerabilities and risks.

Musaliev also noted that all government information systems are currently under review. To streamline services, agencies are now prohibited from launching new standalone apps.

All government applications will be hosted exclusively on the eGov and Aitu platforms, as mandated by the government’s digital task force.

“A unified platform, KazTech, has been introduced. All government systems will be built on it. Security checks will now run 24/7,” said the Vice Minister.

As previously reported, the shift to a SuperApp model aims to unify fragmented digital services, improve citizen access to public services, and enhance data protection.

Musaliev added that the first KazTech-based system is expected in Q1 2026. Implementation will be phased, in line with national directives.
